Tuesday Night Hits Differently

I will leave to one side the improbability of the Democratic victory in Texas and assume for this analysis that Democrats did not cheat their way victory there or in other states. Know that I only concede this point to focus today on the problems of demographic transformation, the Democratic Party’s embrace of Communism and Islam, and the situation of young American men.

Democrats have won 35 or more seats so far. They will likely pick up more, maybe another eight seats or so. However, historically, it’s been worse for an incumbent President. In 1938, Democrats suffered the largest House seat loss in modern American history, losing 72 Congressmen to Republicans. In 2010, Democrats lost 64 House seats and six Senate seats. Truman lost 56 House seats and twelve Senate seats in 1946. The “Gingrich Revolution” saw Democrats lose 54 House seats and eight Senate seats in 1994, surrendering control of both chambers to Republicans.

That Tuesday wasn’t a numerically bad as it could be, should not be taken as hope by Republican readers. The demographic situation has changed, as well as the ideological character of the parties. A decontextualized fact does not explain the significance of what happened Tuesday.

Demographically, America is a different country today than the country we grew up in. Democrats flooded the country with illegal immigrants under Biden. Islam is now a force in America. A Muslim is mayor of New York City. And now a Muslim will sit in the Senate. Prior to the November 2026 midterms, 255 Muslim elected officials were actively serving across 26 states. These numbers are scaling up significantly thanks to citizens (and almost certainly noncitizens) voting against the interests of the states and the nation. As of November 5, 2026, a preliminary wave of at least 97 confirmed Muslim electoral victories in the midterms. The total is expected to clear 100 once all Western mail-in votes are finalized. That is a disaster. (See my October warning We Need to Get Real About the Democrat Agenda.)

The anticommunism shared across party lines no longer exists. The Democratic Party has embraced what was once almost universally opposed. The Democratic Socialist arm of the party—who are in truth Communists— has been busy downloading its totalitarian platform onto the wetware of developing brains corrupted by public education. One doesn’t have to turn to right-wingers for an explanation. Noam Chomsky told us a long time ago that education is a system of imposed ignorance. He also explained the function of the mass media (see Manufacturing Consent if you are in the dark about this). In starker terms, Michel Foucault told us the end-point of the administered life and elite control over the sense-making apparatus: the manufacture true of docile bodies.

Tuesday hits differently, and readers shouldn’t wax pollyannaish. As I have been warning for month on the pages of Freedom and Reason, we may well have lost the American Republic at the ballot box. Many are calling this an extinction-level event. I cannot disagree. There are many reasons for this. I want to focus on a few more of them before concluding this essay.

A piece of it is antisemitism. You can thank rightwing influencers like Nick Fuentes, Tucker Carlson, and Candace Owens for convincing young conservative men that Trump is a Zionist stooge. Owens played a particularly sinister role in this by leading her millions of followers to believe that Charlie Kirk was not murdered by a trans activist, but that the Jews orchestrated the assassination—and TPUSA and elements of Trump Administration were involved (see Candace Owens Fans: Useful Idiots for the Red-Green Alliance).

Since the soy boys and the Cluster B types have been rabid antisemites for some time now (see The Enemies of Freedom; Is the Red-Green Alliance Ideologically Coherent?), the phenomenon of convergence in an election was a consequential one. I have been warning readers about this for months—not that listening to me would have helped; I can’t sit here idle while my nation is being destroyed. (See The Left-Far Right Convergence and Notes on the Fourth Political Theory; The Woke Reich and the Enemy Within; see also The Dark Heart of Antisemitism: Separating the Haters from the Critics.)

As I have explained, Nazism is the fusion of antisemitism, socialism, and ultranationalism (see If Democratic Socialism is Neither Democratic Nor Socialist, Then What is It? Is Fascism a Left-wing Ideology? Max Weber, Ideal Types, and the Study of Fascism). Hitler came to power not with a coup, but with the votes of the German people. Keep that in mind going forward. Tuesday night was a wakeup call. It spoke louder than I ever could.

Exit polling indicates that a major factor was the Iran War. But it wasn’t war per se. Since when have young conservative men had a problem with war? It’s what I admire about them. (Perhaps Trump should have televised the war like Bush Sr. and Bush Jr. did. Maybe stir the warrior spirit in the boys. Hegseth tried. Now he will be impeached. So will his boss. But I digress.) No, the Iran War is different because some conservatives came to believe that, because weakening Iran benefits Israel, it’s a bad war. The current fashion is Jews bad. Muslims not so much. Influencers on the right played a major role in sowing Jew-hatred into minds of young conservatives.

I agree with Hegseth that there’s a testosterone problem. I’m serious about that. Fertility is dropping like a stone. My advice to young men is to stop wearing bras and stiffening socks and find a woman (see Swallowing the Black Pill? Towards a Sociology of Romantic Inequality).

Young American men have been whacked with a double whammy. Whereas my generation understood the evil of the Islamic Republic, young conservatives are conditioned to see a different evil—and their animality has been extinguished by structural change and woke indoctrination. The only just war in my lifetime is the most unpopular war in my lifetime because weak men loath Jews.

Another reason for Tuesday night is a brutal fact about our species: human beings are culture bearers. We see this with Muslims, determined colonizers who bring their worldview with them and change the societies they colonize. Islam will inherit the Earth. Sorry, ladies. You’re won’t like what’s coming (it looks like El-Sayed’s wife). For my gay comrades, it will be worse than that. Islam is an existential threat to the West. European cities are on fire because elites flung open wide the gates to the barbarian. Their comrades are even electing them to public office. Our fellow Americans have joined them in this treachery. An alien shadow is haunting North America.

I have penned many essays on the problem of Islamization of the West, but there is another culture bearer who is also disrupting democracy: Democrats. You weren’t paying attention when hundreds of thousands of them left planet California—presumably fleeing high energy prices, high taxes, filthy cities wracked with degeneracy, and a myriad of other pathologies—and colonized Red states, Texas in particular, turning them blue or purple. California’s migrants combined their energies with immigrants and flipped a state that only two years ago Trump won by more than 1.5 million votes. Trump won 242 of Texas’s 254 counties. It makes the political map ugly. Texas is our second largest state. It’s that bad.

Democrats did not come to Texas to escape California. They are not refugees fleeing tyranny. They came to turn Texas into California. Just like the Muslims they enable, they are colonizers. Some of them went to Florida. We’ll see. A few went to Tennessee. Beware, ya’ll. Congratulations to Marsha Blackburn on winning the Tennessee governor’s race. But I fear my fellow Tennesseans are living on borrowed time. Look what Democrats have done to Georgia and Virginia.

The Jewel of the Republic has fallen. They say that if Texas falls, the nation falls. Let’s hope that’s not true. But I’m not optimistic. I fear the end of my blessed republic is nigh. I’m not a praying man, but I am praying that my comrades rediscover their patriotism in the run-up to 2028.
